My medium is both watercolor and oil. I love the transparency I get with watercolor and the brilliant and intense color of oil fascinates me. Also, I am constantly amazed at the things I learn when I run into problems. Solving them always brings something new and exciting to the image. Figures, flowers, and landscapes are the subjects I favor. I believe that art is a necessity and not a luxury. It fills our souls and brightens our spirits. It's hard for me to imagine a rich and fulfilling life without the inspiration of artists and the art they create.
