Experimental semi abstract and revisiting California Missions.

Still life inspired by having breakfast and looking at this rectangle container full of my neighbor’s tangerines and our limes that look more like lemons as they sat on our kitchen counter. Also, experimenting with single pigment colors that give you a translucent effect.

​Inspired by a photo I took a while back, of the marina at Morro Bay.

​Going through my photo file, I came across a photo taken years ago, when my beard was still black. I thought the lightning on the face was just right to attempt a watercolor, and this is the result.
